چکیده

TGD modeling using sum of longest diameters (SLD) is associated with long-term outcomes in NSCLC. Early changes radiomics features within the tumor may also correlate survival outcomes. We retrospectively evaluated 3 methods to assess early treatment outcomes: growth rate (g) by SLD, volumetric measurements, and change signatures predict Patients stage IV NSCLC CheckMate 9LA treated first-line nivolumab+ipilimumab+chemotherapy (NIVO+IPI+CHEMO) or CHEMO alone were included. was modeled radiologically-assessed SLD from ≤5 target lesions volumes (SVOL) all measurable >10 mm at baseline, 6, 12, and/or 18 weeks. Clinicopathological Features of Patients with Non-small-cell Lung Cancer in West of Iran

Background: Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death worldwide with an annual mortality rate of more than 1.3 million worldwide. We aimed to analyze the clinicopathological features of patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in west of Iran. Methods: 64 patients with NSCLC who referred to our clinic were analyzed. Sex, age, histopathology, location of the tumor, treatment,...

A review of the role of dopamine receptors and novel therapeutic strategies in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)

Lung cancer is a very aggressive and most deadly cancer in both men and women. Lung cancer is divided into two types of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). NSCLC is divided into 3 subgroups: adenocarcinoma (AC), squamous cell carcinoma (SqCC) and large cell carcinoma (LCC). Dopamine is involved in controlling motions, cognition, emotions, memory and reward mech...

Treatment of Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Background: Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a treatable, but not curable, clinical entity in patients given the diagnosis at a time when their performance status (PS) remains good. Methods: A systematic literature review was performed to update the previous edition of the American College of Chest Physicians Lung Cancer Guidelines. Results: The use of pemetrexed should be restric...

Treatment of early stage non-small cell lung cancer.

Photodynamic therapy (PDT), brachytherapy, electrocautery, cryotherapy, and Nd-YAG laser therapy are therapeutic options available for management of endobronchial malignancies. All of these treatment modalities have been used for both palliation of late obstructing cancers, and more recently have been used as primary treatment of early radiographically occult cancers. We reviewed the evidence f...

Surgical treatment of early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer

Surgical resection remains the standard of care for functionally operable early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and resectable stage IIIA disease. The role of invasive staging and restaging techniques is currently being debated, but they provide the largest biopsy samples which allow for precise mediastinal staging. Different types of operative procedures are currently available to the...
